A judge and at least 10 others were killed today when a powerful bomb exploded inside a courtroom in Quetta, capital of Pakistan’s Baluchistan province, police said.
“I confirm that that the civil judge Abdul Wahid has died in the bomb explosion,” said police chief Afaq Zahid.
It was not immediately clear who was behind the attack.
Government forces have clashed with ethnic Baluch rebels in the vast desert province, scene of unrest over political rights and natural gas royalties.
