Answers.com to gain reference sites

Answers Corp., operator of the Answers.com reference website, agreed to acquire Long Beach-based Lexico Publishing Group for $100 million in cash to add Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com and Reference.com.
The combination would be ranked lower than only Wikipedia among reference websites, Jerusalem-based Answers said in a statement.
