A fight involving several partygoers in Anaheim Hills early Saturday left one man stabbed to death and another in jail on suspicion of killing him, police said.
Andrew Paul Thompson, 23, of Placentia was found stabbed in the upper chest about 1 a.m. at Willow Woods Drive and Candlewood Circle near where he had attended a party, said Sgt. Tim Schmidt, a spokesman for the Anaheim Police Department.
Thompson was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he was pronounced dead.
About nine hours later, Schmidt said, David Louis Vinci Jr., 22, of Yorba Linda was arrested and booked into Anaheim City Jail on suspicion of murder.
The incident did not appear to be gang-related, police said.
