Avery CEO package was $5.3 million in 2006

Avery Dennison Corp. paid Chief Executive Dean A. Scarborough $5.3 million in total compensation in 2006, his first full year as CEO, the Pasadena-based label maker reported.
Scarborough was paid $847,000 in salary and received $2.1 million in cash bonuses, according to a regulatory filing. He received $131,171 in stock awards and $1 million in stock options. He also received $97,587 in miscellaneous compensation, which includes car expenses, club dues and medical expenses.
Avery Dennison reported a 62% increase in profit last year, to $367.2 million.
