It has happened to me over and over again since Kobe Bryant began his career with the Lakers: I’m watching a Lakers game that’s in the balance and Kobe’s laser-like drive results in clutch baskets that save or win the game. And I tell myself, “We’re so lucky to have him.”
Come on, who else does this stuff? No one, from D-Wade to LeBron to, yes, Shaq. If this guy is not the next Michael Jordan, he’s right next to him. And we won’t see anyone else like him in this generation.
