Man is killed by big rig in his yard

A man cleaning his swimming pool was struck and killed Monday by a big rig that crashed into his backyard after a traffic accident, officials said.
Kevin Vicary, 38, was pronounced dead at a hospital. His 2-year-old daughter, who was also in the backyard, was unhurt.
The accident occurred after a van ran a red light and was struck by the big rig, which then hit another vehicle, officials said. The rig crashed through a fence at Vicary’s home. None of the drivers was seriously hurt, according to the El Cajon Police Department.
