The Los Angeles County coroner’s office Saturday identified a man killed Friday afternoon as he allegedly participated in a home invasion robbery in Woodland Hills.
Alexander Neal, 20, of Compton was shot and killed after he and two other men allegedly broke into a home in the 24300 block of Burbank Boulevard.
As residents were being robbed, authorities said, a family member in another part of the house armed himself and confronted the intruders. “The suspects immediately began firing their weapons in the direction of the armed family member,” an LAPD statement said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call West Valley Homicide detectives at (818) 374-7730.
