Blockbuster Web-rental service down

The online movie rental service operated by Blockbuster Inc. was taken down after it experienced a system problem, a company spokesman said.
Blockbuster spokesman Randy Hargrove said the outage occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Pacific time after hardware failed at an outside provider.
The provider expected to have the problem fixed late Monday, Hargrove said.
