Doctor arrested on sex charges

A doctor who allegedly touched a patient improperly was arrested Tuesday on a felony complaint of sexual battery as he was driving near his Crenshaw-area clinic.
Kevin Antario Brown, 37, a physician and surgeon at Crenshaw Expo Medical Center, in the 3600 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, was booked at Los Angeles County Jail, and was being held on $50,000 bail.
His arrest was triggered by a complaint from an 18-year-old female patient a year ago and a subsequent police sting in which an undercover female vice detective visited Brown’s clinic and allegedly was touched inappropriately.
