Sorry, skycaps

Re “Skycaps feel pinch in airline crunch,” July 5
My apologizes to all the skycaps I have stiffed since the minimum $2-a-bag charge was instituted. I had no idea the airline got that money; I would never consciously not tip someone for services rendered where tipping is the norm. The airlines have turned the skycaps into a profit center, collecting much more than they pay the skycap. Shame on the airlines for not posting large signs that say that the $2-a-bag charge is an airline service charge.
