A leap forward in diaper decorum

Procter & Gamble Co. is testing a product that allows a child’s diaper to be changed without being taken off.
The Pampers Change ‘N Go diaper uses a slip-in panel that is removed and replaced when wet, allowing the pants to remain on the child, according to the Procter & Gamble website www.pamperschangengo.com.
The diaper is in the early stages of testing and an introduction date hasn’t been disclosed, said Jennifer Chelune, a P&G; spokeswoman. They currently aren’t available in stores.
A “To-Go Pack” of Change ‘N Go diapers sells online for $3.99. That includes four diaper pants, preloaded with one insert plus five additional inserts for a total of as many as nine changes. A refill pack has 16 inserts for $2.99.
