Regarding “Pick Me Up” (On the Spot, April 20): One solution to the shared-ride services: We rent a one-way car to LAX, drop it off at the rental agency, pick up another one-way car back to Riverside and then drop it off at the rental agency in Riverside. The price winds up about the same price as a shared-ride van ride from our area.
