Escape with your wallet intact

Hotels in Vegas are looking to fill their rooms, and the deals are pretty spectacular, including this one called the Exotic Escape at THEhotel, the 5-year-old hotel within a hotel at Mandalay Bay.

The deal: Rates for a 725-square-foot suite start at $140 on certain select dates this month and next; other dates are higher (weekends, of course) but many are still in the $150 range. But wait -- there’s more. You get a $50 resort credit (you can eat, go to the spa, visit the Shark Reef, etc.), two-for-one tickets to “Mamma Mia” and $300 in savings certificates to Mandalay Place shops.
