at Long Beach State 73, Weber State 69 (OT): The 49ers (1-2) erased a 23-point second-half deficit and went on to defeat the Wildcats (2-2). Donavan Morris made seven of 10 shots and made two free throws with 13.9 seconds remaining in overtime to seal the win for Long Beach State. The 49ers went on a 26-1 run in the final 11 minutes of regulation, and Kellen McCoy’s 35-footer at the buzzer tied the game at 63-63 and forced the overtime period.

at UC Riverside 59, Northern Arizona 52: Javon Borum scored six of his game-high 21 points in the final 1:10 as the Highlanders (2-1) moved over the .500 mark for only the fourth time since moving to Division I in 2002. With the Highlanders ahead, 51-49, Borum followed a Brandon Dowdy steal with a layup, then made four free throws down the stretch. Cameron Jones led Northern Arizona (1-3) with 14 points.
