Re “Pastors test IRS ban on politics,” Sept. 29
Despite all the wailing and gnashing of teeth, the issue is so simple, even a fundamentalist should be able to understand it.
Preachers can say whatever they want about any political candidate, including endorsing them. What they can’t do is expect my taxes to continue to support them as they do so.
It comes down to free speech versus a free ride.
