Chicago 10, at Detroit 6: Jermaine Dye and Paul Konerko reached 300 career homers with consecutive drives in the second inning for the White Sox. Dye and Konerko became the first teammates to hit century milestone home runs of at least 300 in the same game.
at Kansas City 4, Cleveland 2: Zack Greinke (2-0) extended his scoreless inning streak to 25 innings.
Baltimore 10, at Texas 9: Aubrey Huff went four for five with three of the Orioles’ seven RBI singles. Chris Davis, Michael Young and Andruw Jones all hit home runs for Texas.
at Oakland 8, Boston 2: Jack Cust and Nomar Garciaparra each homered for the Athletics. The Red Sox dropped to 2-5, their worst start since 1996.
Toronto 8, at Minnesota 6: Travis Snider hit two home runs for the Blue Jays, including a go-ahead two-run shot in the eighth inning.
