Going live: Academy Award nominee Anne Hathaway will play Viola this summer in the Public Theater’s production of “Twelfth Night” in New York’s Central Park.
Rock on: U2 will be on David Letterman’s “Late Show” for a full week, March 2-6, to promote its upcoming album, “No Line on the Horizon.” It’s the first time a musical guest has been given a solid week on the CBS show.
Farewell: Nicollette Sheridan, who plays Edie Britt on “Desperate Housewives,” is leaving the series, ABC says, but the network didn’t specify when her last appearance would be.
Reunion: After an eight-year hiatus, the original members of Limp Bizkit say they are reuniting for a European tour this spring, and a new album is in the planning stages.
Teaming anew: Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood, bandmates 40 years ago in Blind Faith, will perform together on a 14-city U.S. tour that begins June 10 in East Rutherford, N.J., and culminates June 30 at the Hollywood Bowl.
