May 13, 2009: David Hockney’s “Beverly Hills Housewife” (1966-67), from the estate of Betty Freeman, sells for $7.9 million.

May 4, 2010: Pablo Picasso’s “Nude, Green Leaves and Bust” (1932), from the estate of Frances Brody, sells for $106.5 million.

May 11, 2010: Jasper Johns’ “Flag” (1960-66), from the estate of Michael Crichton, sells for $28.6 million.
