Chilean miners: An article in the Sept. 5 Section A about trapped Chilean miners gave an incorrect spelling for the name of a survivor of the 1972 Andean plane crash who visited the site. His name is Gustavo Zerbino, not Servino.
Frittata recipe: In the Sept. 9 Food section, a recipe for prosciutto and onion frittata called for 2 tablespoons of grated Parmigiano-Reggiano but did not explain how they were to be used. They should be sprinkled over the frittata before broiling. The corrected recipe can be found online at latimes.com/prosciutto-frittata.
Art Deco: A photo caption accompanying a Sept. 4 Home article about Art Deco collector John Thomas described the flooring of his Long Beach condominium foyer as resembling wood parquet. It doesn’t resemble wood parquet; further, it is made of ceramic tile.
Nick Adenhart: In the Sept. 2 LATExtra section, a brief news item about evidence in the trial of a man accused of killing Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart and two others in a drunk-driving crash said the legal blood alcohol limit for drivers under age 21 is 0.05%. In fact, the legal limit for drivers under 21 is 0.01%, according to the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
Robert Schimmel obituary: The obituary of stand-up comic Robert Schimmel in the Sept. 5 California section misspelled comedian Jimmie Walker’s first name as Jimmy.
Del Mar horse racing: The Del Mar results report in the Sept. 9 Sports section contained erroneous information for the previous day’s Races 7 through 10. The corrected results appear today on Page C6.
