“Monk” producer and co-creator David Hoberman has sold his Brentwood estate for $17.85 million.
The two-story traditional-style home sits behind gates on nearly two acres of landscaped grounds with mature trees, a swimming pool and a 1,500-square-foot pool house/theater building.
A two-story entry, living, dining and family rooms, an office, a gym, six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms are within the 9,200 square feet of living space.
There’s a tennis court and a lawn the size of a soccer field.
Hoberman was executive producer of “Monk” during its run from 2002 to ’09. The producer’s big-screen credits include “Warm Bodies” (2013), “The Fighter” (2010) and “The Proposal” (2009).
He bought the property in 1990 for $4.9 million, public records show.
Richard Ehrlich and Stephen Shapiro of Westside Estate Agency were the listing agents. Stephen Sigoloff of the Agency represented the buyer.
