Professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, who bought a house near the beach in San Clemente earlier this year, has put another home in the area on the market for $1.695 million.
The two-story Mediterranean in a gated community was built in 2001 and touts such details as Travertine and stone floors, whole-house surround sound and a skylight-topped rotunda.
Within the 4,500-square-foot space are formal living and dining rooms, an open-area kitchen with an island and a lower-level gym. Stadium seating and a 103-inch television highlight a custom home theater.
Four bedrooms and five bathrooms include a master suite with an ocean-view deck, his and hers closets and an in-floor safe. There are three fireplaces.
Sheckler bought the house, once featured in an episode of “MTV Cribs,” in 2008 for $1.7 million, records show.
Jerry Thomas of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the listing agent.
Sheckler, 25, has won six medals at the X Games, including three golds. As a teenager, the Orange County native starred in the MTV reality show “Life of Ryan.”
Earlier this year, he paid $2.5 million for a 3,000-square-foot home near T-Street Beach in San Clemente. The two-story Mediterranean has four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and an in-ground spa.
