Actor Ryan Stiles has sold his Robert Byrd-designed home in Encino for $3.1 million.
The two-story French country-style house, built in 1976, is made for entertaining, with a pool, a spa, park-like grounds and a barbecue area on the nearly 1-acre gated site. Byrd is known for his indoor-outdoor designs.
The 7,631-square-foot house features vaulted ceilings, hand-hewn wood flooring, French doors, a formal dining room, a den, an eat-in kitchen, four fireplaces, five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.
Stiles, 54, has a recurring role on the sitcom “Two and a Half Men” (2004-present). He co-starred on “The Drew Carey Show” (1995-2004) and was executive producer as well as a regular on “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” (1998-2006).
Lynde Leonard and Johnny Schell of Coldwell Banker’s Beverly Hills South office were the listing agents. Anthony Friedman of Friedman Realty & Investments represented the buyer.
