Sinead O’Connor’s motherly plea for the pop star to stop “pimping” herself was quickly retracted when an unappreciative Cyrus took to Twitter with acerbic insults. (O’Connor penned an open letter to the singer after Cyrus credited the elder songwriter as the inspiration behind the skin-flashing “Wrecking Ball” video.) “Who the ... is advising you? Because taking me on is even more ... stupid than behaving like a prostitute and calling it feminism,” O’Connor fired back. Ouch. We’re definitely keeping tabs on this verbal cat fight. The premiere of Spears’ “Work, Bitch” music video was eye-catching, with its racy desert dance breaks, whip-wielding and skimpy outfits.
