Jamie Dornan’s job is hotter than yours. Unless you have a sex dungeon.

So much for NSFW: Jamie Dornan found a kinky bit of the ol’ nasty was perfectly suitable for his work on “50 Shades of Grey.”

He got lucky. It’s not every occupation that considers a sex dungeon as an appropriate place to conduct research.

“I went there, they offered me a beer, and they did ... whatever they were into,” the 32-year-old British actor told Elle UK about his educational field trip ahead of playing the movie’s sexual-sadist lead. “I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives.”

Like when a company’s top honcho decides to chat up one of the cubicle dwellers?

Um, not exactly: “I was like, ‘Come on, guys, I know I’m not paying for this, but I am expecting a show.’” he said. “It was an interesting evening.”

Still, Dornan — who apparently thinks selfies are an “epidemic,” babies are “heaven” and naked mole-rats are “sexy” — tried not to take his work home with him.

“Going back to my wife and newborn baby afterwards ... I had a long shower before touching either of them.”

Well played, sir. Well played.

The “Once Upon a Time” actor will be on the cover of Elle UK for February (Eddie Redmayne does the honors for January). Dornan’s “50 Shades,” costarring Dakota Johnson, is slated to open Feb. 13 in the U.S. and Britain.
