‘Boy Meets World’ alum Rider Strong welcomes baby boy

Boy meets baby boy! Rider Strong is a dad!
The “Boy Meets World” alum welcomed a son with “Parenthood” actress Alexandra Barreto last month, his rep Melanie Marquez confirmed to the Los Angeles Times on Thursday.
“Yes, he is a father,” she said. “They did have Indy on Dec. 28.”
“Indy” is short for Indigo Barreto Strong.
Marquez said the new parents won’t be realeasing any additional information about the birth, nor will they be releasing any photos.
Strong and “The Fosters” actress met in 2006 while they were working on the short-lived WB dramedy “Pepper Dennis,” which starred Rebecca Romijn. The actor proposed just before Christmas in 2012 with a ring he made himself.
The 35-year-old, who also directs, wed Barreto in a camp-themed Oregon wedding in October 2013 -- the same weekend his former costar Danielle Fishel married Tim Belusko. Strong and Fishel both reprised their roles in Disney Channel’s sitcom reboot “Girl Meets World.”
