The Great Swifty! Taylor Swift has re-created Mia Farrow’s 1974 “Great Gatsby”-inspired cover for People magazine’s 40th anniversary issue.

The “Shake It Off” songstress’ head shot — complete with Daisy Buchanan’s vintage garb and pearl-necklace nibbling — graces the mag’s double issue in a purposeful attempt to replicate the celebrity mag’s inaugural March 4, 1974, cover.

The 24-year-old has been branching out this year, launching her first full pop album “1989” on Oct. 27. The Grammy-winning country crossover star has also made a concerted effort to change the narrative from her who she’s dating to — well, anything else. She’s done that by branching out on her own and spending more time with famous pals. (Last month, she also won the Internet.)

“Being on my own, prioritizing my girlfriends, my family and my music above everything else and trying things I never thought I’d try,” the singer told People. “It’s really been a liberating and freeing time.”

Another noticeable tidbit from the cover? People cost only 35 cents when it debuted four decades ago. Today a newsstand copy rings up for $5.99.
