Every August, Turner Classic Movies celebrates “Summer Under the Stars” by featuring the films of a legendary star each day. So set your DVRs for Wednesday when TCM airs 13 films starring timeless leading man Cary Grant. The tribute features some of his best-loved comedies, including 1937’s “The Awful Truth,” 1938’s “Bringing Up Baby” and 1940’s “The Philadelphia Story” as well as the rousing 1939 adventure tale “Gunga Din” and even a pre-code rarity, 1932’s “Hot Saturday.” Other stars on tap for this week include Carole Lombard (Sunday), Marlon Brando (Monday) and Charlie Chaplin (Thursday).
