New ‘Gilmore Girls’ trailer dares you not to cry when the theme song hits

It’s finally here.

Netflix has released the first trailer for “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” and it’s packed full of your favorite characters.

Lorelai and Rory are back in action in the new video that shows the fast-talking mother and daughter catching up during a stroll through Stars Hallow. Of course, while some things have changed in the years since fans have last seen these characters, some haven’t — such as marathon eating sessions and Friday night dinners with Emily.

Speaking of Emily and change, the trailer also reveals how the matriarch is handling Richard’s death, a process that apparently includes commissioning a gigantic portrait of her late husband as well as purging her home of anything that doesn’t bring her joy.

As the trailer flashes through scenes, fans can catch a glimpse of Luke, Jess, Dean, Sookie, Lane and even Kirk.

“Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” will be told in four 90-minute installments that collectively cover the course of a year, with each chapter corresponding to a season.

Netflix is scheduled to release the new “Gilmore Girls” episodes Nov. 25.
