Fox orders more new comedies: ‘Grandfathered’ and ‘The Guide to Surviving Life’

Fox has announced two more new series for the upcoming new season: “Grandfathered” and “The Guide to Surviving Life.”

“Grandfathered” stars John Stamos (“Full House”) as a longtime bachelor whose life is upended when he discovers he’s a father -- and a grandfather.

Co-starring is Josh Peck, Paget Brewster, Christina Milian, Kelly Jenrette and Ravi Patel. Serving as executive producer and writer is Korean American writer Daniel Chun, who has written for “The Office” and “The Simpsons.”

The other new comedy, “The Guide to Surviving Life,” celebrates the mistakes and misadventures young adults make before settling down. The cast includes Jack Cutmore-Scott, Meaghan Rath, James Earl and Charlie Saxton.
