Billy Dee Williams puts Beverly Hills home on the market

Actor Billy Dee Williams has listed his longtime Beverly Hills house for sale at $4,499,000.
On more than half an acre of mostly flat land, the contemporary home is surrounded by mature trees and tropical landscaping. The single-story house, built in 1961, is entered through a courtyard with a rock pond. Designed for entertaining, the 5,295-square-foot open plan home has French doors opening to a swimming pool, spa and deck. There are six bedrooms and six bathrooms.
Since Williams, 73, starred as Han Solo’s buddy Lando Calrissian in “Star Wars: Episode V — The Empire Strikes Back” (1980) and “Star Wars: Episode VI — Return of the Jedi” (1983), he has appeared on such TV shows as “General Hospital: Night Shift” (2007-08), “General Hospital” (2009) and “Diary of a Single Mom” (2009-10).
