The Philadelphia Eagles outplayed the New England Patriots to earn a 41-33 victory in Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium tonight, earning the franchise’s first Super Bowl win.
The Eagles last won the NFL title before the Super Bowl era in 1960.
The Patriots took their first lead of the game, 33-32, with 9:22 left in the fourth quarter. It was short-lived as the Eagles marched down the field to recapture the lead, and then two plays after the ensuing kickoff forced a turnover and converted it into a field goal that provided the final margin.
