L.A. Pride 2008
Thousands gathered in West Hollywood over the weekend for L.A. Pride 2008, which celebrates the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities. This year’s event was given added meaning after the state Supreme Court struck down a ban on same-sex marriage. Same-sex marriage ceremonies are slated to begin June 17.
