Notable multiple births

The Boniello sextuplets, from left, Stella, Sabrina, Trifon, Gerard, Olivia and Sophia pose in New York on their 10th birthday. At the time of their birth in 1997, the Boniello sextuplets were only the third known set of sextuplets to survive in the U.S. and only the 10th to survive in the world.

The Bova quintuplets were born in Ventura to Lynn and Joe Bova. Pictured months after the birth, the new additions to the family are admired by parents and older brother Ryan. The quintuplets are from left: Emiline, Kathryn, Samuel, Nathaniel, and Abigail.
