A 43-year-old San Bernardino man was arrested on suspicion of killing his 42-year-old brother in San Diego, police said.
Jason Douglas Paris was arrested late Saturday in connection with the gunshot death of his brother Cedric O’Neal Paris, according to Lt. Michael Hastings. No motive for the slaying was given.
San Diego police had responded at 10 p.m. Saturday to a shooting in the Allied Gardens neighborhood and found the younger brother on the sidewalk. He was declared dead at the scene.
Minutes later, police in the Scripps Ranch area stopped a sport utility vehicle that matched the description given by witnesses of the shooter, Hastings said.
Jason Douglas Paris was booked into county jail on one count of murder, jail records said. He is set for arraignment Thursday.
