A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle late Thursday night in Anaheim, police said.
Anaheim Police Sgt. Bob Dunn said the man was in the roadway, but not in a crosswalk, when he was hit about 11 p.m. on Ball Road east of the 57 Freeway.
The man, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stopped, Dunn said, and was not arrested. He said the investigation was ongoing.
