Around 8:15 p.m., a limo exiting on Newhall Ranch Road from the nortbound Interstate 5 crashed into two smaller cars headed eastbound on the road, L.A. County Sheriff’s Lt. Derek Sabatini said.
He said those seriously injured had been traveling in the limo, which was carrying nine people. Officials haven’t yet determined what caused the crash.
The injured were taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, Olive View-UCLA Medical Center and Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Sabatini said.
