A total of 11 occupants were assisted in exiting a car that was stuck Monday morning on the Universal Studios Transformers ride.
Officials initially believed 10 people were in the car, which was reported stopped at 9:10 a.m. Monday morning.
In the ride, participants wear 3-D glasses and “see the world of Transformers come to life,” said Universal spokeswoman Audrey Eig.
That experience was halted when, due to a “technical difficulty,” the car transporting them was not elevated high enough on a platform to continue advancing forward.
The ride will resume operations after an inspection is completed, Eig said.
