Man arrested after making bomb threat at social services center in Norwalk

A man attending a meeting Wednesday evening at the Norwalk Social Services Center was arrested by sheriff’s deputies after he said he had a bomb in his truck.
Lt. Robin Limon, of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Norwalk station, said the center, at 11929 Alondra Blvd., and nearby homes were evacuated while the department’s bomb squad assessed the threat.
No bomb was found in the man’s truck.
