Southbound 110 Freeway in downtown shut down after shooting

A shooting on the 110 Freeway in downtown L.A. has forced the shutdown of all southbound lanes, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 5:20 p.m. on the freeway near 9th Street, authorities said.
A male victim was apparently shot twice and thrown from a vehicle on the freeway, according to KTLA News. The victim was still alive and was transported to a hospital.
No other information was available.
