Readers React: Bravos for Gustavo Dudamel

To the editor: Gustavo Dudamel may not be interested in politics, but politics is interested in him. (“Why I don’t talk politics,” Opinion, Sept. 29) By not warmly embracing the left’s agenda, and now by publicly admitting his noninvolvement, he has already made himself even more politically suspect.
Dudamel may be protected from the intolerant puritanism of leftist political correctness, but if it were me, I’d be careful not to rock the boat.
