Readers React: Why most lapsed Catholics won’t come back

To the editor: I concede that “Pope Francis’ annulment reforms may draw divorced Catholics back to the faith,” at least to a limited extent.
However, the only thing that probably will bring many lapsed Catholics (a category that doesn’t necessarily include many divorced Catholics) back to the faith is the conversion of our post-Christian culture — something I don’t see happening any time soon.
