The Clippers agreed to a one-year deal Tuesday with free agent Alan Anderson, said NBA officials who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter because the contract was still being finalized.
Anderson, a 6-foot-6 guard/forward, will earn the veteran’s minimum of $1.5 million.
He played in 13 games last season with the Washington Wizards, sitting out most of the season because of ankle surgery and a groin injury.
Anderson, 33, averaged 5.0 points and shot 35.6% from the field, 32.4% from three-point range last season.
Over his seven-year career, he has averaged 7.8 points per game on 40.6% shooting.
The Clippers now have the NBA maximum of 15 players on their roster.
