The father of Alemany’s Brandon Boyd, a two-sport standout, has informed college basketball scouts that his son won’t be playing football this season to focus on basketball.
But Boyd said Friday he still hasn’t made a final decision. He said he probably won’t be playing football but won’t decide until Sunday.
Boyd has been a starter at safety for the Warriors. He had eight interceptions last season. He picked up a scholarship offer from Navy in basketball and has interest from several schools as a point guard.
