Luca Mendoza, a swimmer, and Ethan Treiman, a cross country and track athlete, are a pair of junior athletes at Crossroads who will be getting to hang out at the LA Philharmonic.
They have been named to participate in the LA Philharmonic Composer Fellowship Program that offers four high school composers the opportunity to focus on the process and production of music composition.
They will be given access to the orchestra’s rehearsals and concerts while being mentored by members of the LA Philharmonic.
Treiman has acted in several theater shows at Crossroads. Mendoza plays piano and recently performed at a jazz festival in Panama.
