Reseda Cleveland baseball Coach Scott Drootin wanted a memorable national anthem on opening day for the Cavaliers.
“We called Jimi Hendrix. He couldn’t make it,” Drootin said.
But Drootin recruited senior Jeovanie Hernandez. Not even a little rain could disturb Hernandez from breaking out his electric guitar and providing a solid rendition of the national anthem before Wednesday’s game against Sylmar.
See video above.
Unfortunately, the game against Sylmar was stopped after two innings because of rain. It will be rescheduled.
