Baseball: SoCal players make USA 18U national team

The USA 18U national team was announced on Thursday, and a group of Southern California high school baseball standouts made the team.
On the team are Brice Turang of Corona Santiago; Hunter Greene of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame; Nick Pratto and Hagen Danner of Huntington Beach; Royce Lewis of JSerra; Hans Crouse of Dana Hills.
Also making the team from San Diego was Nick Allen from Francis Parker.
The team will leave next week for Monterrey, Mexico, to play in the COPABE Pan Am “AA” Championships from Sept. 30 to Oct. 9.
