Baseball: Tyler Matzek to make major-league debut on Wednesday

Former Capistrano Valley standout Tyler Matzek, a first-round draft pick of the Colorado Rockies in 2009, will make his major-league debut for the Rockies on Wednesday pitching against the Braves, according to the Denver Post.
Matzek has been pitching in Triple A Colorado Springs.
Matzek was the Division 1 player of the year in 2009.
Former St. Francis pitcher Christian Bergman made his debut for the Rockies on Monday, giving up two runs in six innings.
