Boys’ baskeball: Leland Green scores 25 points in Redondo victory

Leland Green had 25 points and Michael Munn added 16 to lead Redondo to a 70-61 Bay League victory over Peninsula.
Myles Franklin scored 28 points in Hart’s 54-49 Foothill League win over Saugus.
Foothill defeated Anaheim Canyon, 67-63. Reed Nakakihara had 22 points and juniors Lucas Araujo and Matt Avila added 13 apiece. Jordan Rohan had 28 points for Canyon.
Sedrick Barefield scored 34 points in Corona Centennial’s 88-64 win over Corona Santiago.
Simi Valley defeated Newbury Park, 69-63, in double overtime.
Village Christian received 20 points from Bennie Boatwright in a 69-67 win over Valley Christian. Clifton Powell had 13 points and along Kahlil Simplis. Tyler Dorsey had 43 points in Maranatha’s 71-54 win over Whittier Christian. He’s averaging 32.3 points.
