Boys’ basketball: 7-2 center from China enrolls at St. Monica

Xiang Yu Meng, a 7-foot-2 junior center from China who played last season at IMG Academy in Florida, has enrolled at St. Monica.
He lives with a guardian in Southern California. He was hanging out at Bishop Mongomery during the summer.
After his first practice with St. Monica, first-year Coach John Skinner said he saw some good skills but that he needs lots of work.
