Boys’ basketball: Alemany opens Mission League with win over Sherman Oaks Notre Dame

So far, so good for Alemany, the favorite to win the Mission League in basketball.
The Warrior opened their league season on Monday night with a 62-41 victory over Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
Fred Odhiambo had 21 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks. Earnie Sears added 12 points and Brandon Davis 10. Alemany is 12-3 overall.
University improved to 10-0 with an 83-44 win over North Hollywood in the Kennedy tournament. Daisone Hughes scored 16 points.
Kennedy defeated Chatsworth, 56-52. Grant defeated Gardena, 49-38.
